Students will cover a wide variety of different topics, including lessons on how to present vocabulary, self-evaluation, using visual aids, lesson planning, test preparation, and much, much more. Students taking the TESOL course can expect:

  • Intense classes focused on improving presentation skills and acquiring necessary knowledge relevant to teaching
  • Daily homework assignments
  • A focus on acquiring vocabulary relevant to teaching
  • Daily feedback on progress

Nearing the end of this course, students will be asked to prepare a lesson which they will present in class, and will then be thoroughly evaluated following the presentation. A final test will also be administered to ensure that students have acquired all the necessary knowledge needed to become a successful ESL teacher. This is a 4 week long, full time course, and requires a great amount of effort on the part of the student.
