Dear Allan,
I am reviewing my old quizzes and have another question for you.
The question #5 on quiz 2, is asking whether it is true or false that important vocabulary should be written in the margins or presented orally.
My answer to this is false however the correct answer is true.  I don't believe you mentioned about presenting new vocabulary orally on your video.  And I also think that presenting new vocabulary orally is not very good because it doesn't give correct spelling of the new words.
I'd appreciate it if you can let me know of what you think.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.

Sinserely,

Phuong Thi Ngoc Nguyen

Hi again Phuong Thi Ngoc Nguyen,

Unfortunately I agree that important vocabulary should be written in the margins or presented orally.  When we present vocabulary orally it does not mean that we will not write the word down as well.  Presenting a word orally means we go into detail and explain the meaning of the word fully.

I might not have talked about this in module 5, but maybe in an earlier module.  The quizzes are cumulative, and sometimes include questions that might quiz you on something taught in an earlier lesson.  This is most often not the case, but some quizzes do contain questions about information covered in earlier modules.

However, that being said, I don't like this question.  It should be changed to "important vocabulary should be written in the margins and/or presented orally".

Well, hope that helps, and if not, just post again!  Oh, and have a great day!

Dear Allan,
Thank you for your respond. I hope you had a wonderful vacation with your family in Canada.
I just came back from camping with family as well.
Anyhow, I agree with you that the question should be change to "and/or".
I guess I read too much into the grammar of each question and end up making mistakes.
Thank you again and will talk to you soon.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,

Phuong Thi Ngoc Nguyen
