Hello, Allan
This is Namhee Kim  From online TESOL class.
I've just finished midtern test. and I have a question about quiz #3
It says we should put important information in the margins, and the main information in the center. And the answer is true.
In this sentence " important information" means vocabulary, and " the main information" is grammar structure?
During the lecture on module 2 ,You say " grammar structures are important " so should be in the centre . I think grammar structures are important and also the main imformation. That's why I chose false.
I think that question is a little vague description to me.
Could you explain what the difference between " important" and " the main" is?
Thank you  .

Hi Nam Hee,

Actually, you basically already answered your question.  "The main information" basically does mean grammar, while "important information" means vocabulary.  This question was meant to trick people.

However, you're right, it is quite vague, but unfortunately I do have to include some tricky questions from time to time.  That being said, I will probably change the wording of this question sometime soon.

Well, that's probably not the answer that you were looking forward to, but I hope you have a good day nonetheless!
