Hi Chung Sooji,
I am not sure what you are trying to say. The score is technically out of 0.8. If you answer correctly, you get 0.8/0.8. You are talking about question 1 on the midterm exam, right? I do not see where it says "worth 10 marks". If it does, this is a small error, and really irrelevant since your answer is incorrect.
Also, it is standard practice to start a letter or any correspondence like so:
Dear (Person's Name),
I am confused about why I did not...
I would suggest that in the future you write more clearly, and address who you are intending to write to.
