Are they both correct to write 'Bring (object) to (noun)' and 'Bring (object) (noun)'
Because I saw a sentence 'Bring stray cats home.'
So is it okay to skip 'to' ?
In the module 2-3,
"This is the biggest bargain hunting site in Canada and when people like that — they understand deals, they live and breathe deals —are expecting Black Friday to be big, we take it very seriously," said Ravitz.
I can't interpret 'when people like that are expecting black Friday to be~'
I mean, how should I interpret like that ?
In the module 2-3,
"Power said Sears Canada increases its sales by double digits"
How should I interpret by double digits?
I wonder that sales percent increased (5% to 10%) -sale was one digit but finally became double digits (이익이 두자리가 되었다)
or sales increased (5% to 25%) - increased as much as two digits. (두자리수의 이익이 증가했다. 5% (x) 10%, 20%,30%... (0) increased)

Hello Yejin!
Thank you for posting your questions here and let’s have a look!

In the preview vocabulary module 2-1,
Are they both correct to write 'Bring (object) to (noun)' and 'Bring (object) (noun)'
Because I saw a sentence 'Bring stray cats home.'
So is it okay to skip 'to' ?
-> Although I am not going into too much details with the grammar here, the word “home” is not a noun but an adverb here! Check the usages below!
'Bring stray cats home.' (O)
'Bring stray cats to home.' (X)
'Bring stray cats to my house.’ (O)
'Bring stray cats my house.’ (X)

1. when people like that -> ~~같은 사람들이
2. — they understand deals, they live and breathe deals — -> 그 사람들은 세일에 죽고살고 무슨 할인행사가 있는지 완벽히 아는 사람들이다.
3. are expecting Black Friday to be big, ->블랙 프라이데이에 큰 세일이 있기를 기대할 때
Putting the sentences above in 2-1-3 order would give you the most appropriate sentence structure.
For the actual translation, I highly recommend watching the lecture video!

-> I think both of your answers can be technically correct but “두 자릿수의 매출이 증가했다” is how I would understand.
Double digits simply mean anything between 10~99%. If it is 100%, you could say it doubled or it increased by triple digits. (Just a quick note that “sales” should be “매출/판매” rather than 이익 (profit) and the correct spelling of 두자리수 would be 두 자릿수”)

I hope this helps! :)
