Hello,

I have a question in module 3 E to K.

In 3-2 vocabulary no 7. discrimination means '차별'. But we used to use '차별's other word is 'racism'.

I'm wondering what is the difference between 'discrimination' and 'racism' ?

Thank you.

Hello Heeji,

When we say "racism", it specifically means "인종차별", or more specifically "인종 차별 주의" as something "-ism" usually means "~주의"

So the word "racism" is the same thing as "racial discrimination."

I hope this is clear!
