I got an quiz practice questions from dangi tesol so I was trying to study with it.
But, now I stuck with some question. Can you explain this question for me?

The questions was
All of the following can be done individually, in pairs, or in groups, except :
PART 1 : Mutiple Choice - Please choose the correct answer

1) Reading a text and answering questions
2) Grammar exercises
3) Short writing exercises
4) Pattern practice

I thought 3) was the answer but, it says 4) pattern practice is the answer.
