This letter concerns Mr.kim, who I had the pleasure of working with while he was here in Korea.

But, when i saw the class, teacher translated this sentence

This letter concerns Mr.kim, who I had the pleasure of working with while he was here in Korea.

Hello Soon Wook!

Thank you for the question.

One sentence can be translated in many different ways indeed and I personally think your translation sounds perfectly fine. Understanding the meaning of the original sentence and delivering the meaning is what we need to to do. Please do let me know if there are any specific points that you are not sure about.

Best regards,
