This letter concerns Mr.kim, who I had the pleasure of working with while he was here in Korea.
-이 편지는 그가 한국에 있는 동안 내가 즐겁게 같이 일했던 미스터 김에 관한 것입니다.

But, when i saw the class, teacher translated this sentence

This letter concerns Mr.kim, who I had the pleasure of working with while he was here in Korea.
- 그가 한국에 있었던 동안에 저랑 함께 즐겁게 일한 미스터 김에 관한 일로 이 편지를 드립니다.

I cannot understand exactly yet.

One sentence can be translated in many different ways indeed and I personally think your translation sounds perfectly fine. Understanding the meaning of the original sentence and delivering the meaning is what we need to to do. Please do let me know if there are any specific points that you are not sure about.
