Glenn College

Online TESOL Training Program

Brief Program Description

The Glenn College Online TESOL Training Program is designed for students who have completed a TESOL foundation course and wish to further develop their skills in ESL instruction. The program focuses on advanced lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom activity design. Students will engage in reflective practice by creating, recording, and submitting teaching demonstrations for feedback. The course emphasizes practical teaching application and critical reflection on pedagogical approaches.

*The TESOL program offered by Glenn College is not a TESL Canada Recognized Teacher Training Program. This means that upon graduation, students applying for TESL Canada certification must apply and be assessed through a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process. For more information about the PLAR process visit the TESL Canada website.

* This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.
