TO teacher,

hi, how are you today,
I'm happy with your lectures. thank you for everything.

I have a question about module 5 question 8.
8.> lessons should include at most two skills.
1.> true 2.> false

= i did false , but the answer was true.
i don't understand why the answer is true.
i thought that there are 4 skills(reading, listening, writing, speaking)
at most is kind of tricky to me..

could you explain about the reason.

thank you again
hope everything is great.

from, your student kyung ah jung

Hi Kyung Ah Jung,

Wow, good timing!  I was checking the questions on the Q&A after someone else posted, and then I saw your question!

Anyhow, let's take a look at that question.  First of all, you are right, there are 4 skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing).  In any individual lesson, we should try to focus on improving one of our students' skills, or possibly 2.  However, we wouldn't want to make a lesson that includes all four skills, this would be excessive (too much), for just one lesson.

So, the question, "lessons should include at most two skills" is true, because we should only focus on 1, or possibly 2, skills.  "At most" means up to, and not beyond.  Does that make sense?

Well, I hope that helps.  If not, just repost and I'll try to get back to you.  Have a nice day!
