Requests for temporary leave will only be considered under urgent or exceptional circumstances. Glenn College reserves the right to approve or deny any request at its sole discretion, and is not required to provide further explanation for its decision.
To request a temporary leave, students must submit a formal request outlining the reason for the leave, along with supporting documentation from a third party (e.g., a doctor’s note, obituary, employer letter, etc.).
If approved, the duration of the leave must not exceed the total length of the enrolled program. For example, if a program is six weeks in length, the approved leave period cannot exceed six weeks.
