I have completed all my homework for module 4. I have also taken the final exam and now I have got one more stage to go.
The actual TCT Test is around the corner. So I will be taking the TCT test anytime soon.
Before moving on to the TCT assessment, I would like to raise a few questions for module 4.
1. The scale o cruelty and corporal punishment ~ was highlighted ~
=> Can I replace highlighted with spotlighted?
2. You may be getting in your own way as a leader
=> 리더로써 스스로 자신의 길을 가로막고 있다.
Does this mean that 'you are probably putting yourself in a difficult situation, and that's why it's not easy to be a leader.'?
3. People tend to become more interesting as you learn more about them.
Can I translate the sentence as
여러분이 다른 사람에 더 많이 알아갈수록, 이런 것들이 당신의 구미를 당기는 경향이 있다는 거죠.

I would like to clarify this sentence - shouldn't it be ' Here is the copy o the rental agreement and the keys, before you left the office.?
Shouldn't we be using the past form instead of a present verb?
5. Likewise, production personnel are stretched thin, and housing is as booked up as the soundstages.
To me, it doesn't make sense. The original sentence is trying to say that the production team is understaffed or short of hands.
I believe the ideal translation could be '매한가지로 제작진의 인력이 부족하고~ '
6. As with Legion, productions that are new to Vancouver are having to get creative since the majority of the 2 million square feet of available stage space has been snapped up.
Legion의 경우처럼 밴쿠버의 새로운 제작사들은 사용 가능한 촬영 공간인 2만평방 피트의 대부분이 이미 사용중이기 때문에 창의력을 발휘해야만 합니다.
For this sentence, 2 million square feet is 2백만 평방피트, isn't it?

Does this mean that 'you are probably putting yourself in a difficult situation, and that's why it's not easy to be a leader.'?
-> I think this probably means that you are doing something that’s hindering you from becoming a leader!

Can I translate the sentence as
여러분이 다른 사람에 더 많이 알아갈수록, 이런 것들이 당신의 구미를 당기는 경향이 있다는 거죠.
-> I think the only problem with this translation is that “이런 것들이 당신의 구미를 당기는 경향이 있다는 거죠” isn’t quite being specific on what’s becoming more interesting in my opinion!

-> Technically speaking, yes. I think it’s a punctuation problem. For it to be “leave”, the Korean sentence should say: 사무실을 떠나기 전에, 요청해주셨던 …”
