Hello Allan, forgive my ignorance but I dont quite understand how does Eliciting helps students to move from controlled to freer writing.
Is it because it helps them to think freely and express their own ideas?
Also I am bit confused about the differences between presenting and practising. Is it ok to assume that in presenting stage, teacher will mostly do the talking, and in practising stage teacher will only briefly practice with the class what everyone saw in presenting stage, then students do most of the work? I kinda feel like those two stages sort of overlap a little bit.
