Dear mason,
Hope you are doing well and thank you for your help with the assignments and all.
I have a question about sentences with hyphen.
Sometimes I find it very difficult to make it smooth with translation in Korean.
Would it be better for me to just ignore the hyphen and translate in one long Korean sentence? or
just stick with the original form?
Thank you in advance and hope you a nice weekend!

Hello Min Young!
It is a common misconception to think we have to keep all these hyphens, quotation marks, etc… we don’t! Try not to worry too much about the “original form” and write it in a way that it is read well when a Korean person reads it.
I hope this is clear!
Best regards,
