Hi, this is Kahei Hwang.

The sentence " Sitting at the bar Thursday," in module 4-1, you translated the sentence as 목요일에 바에 앉아서.
I thought 'Thursday' is a name of the bar as it starts with capital letter so I translated it as 목요일(이라는 이름의)바에 앉아서. Was I wrong?
If my answer was right, I wonder why it was written "THE" bar? The bar called Thursday was not mentioned at all in the paragraph above.
If mine was wrong, was the bar referring to 'Fountainhead Pub' managed by Drew Watling.

As you had suggested that we wouldn't have to look thorough every single words, just wondering.

Thank you so much for your answer in advance.

Best regards.

Hello Kehei,

Thank you for the question!

To answer your question, one thing that we should note is that days will always be capitalized in English, just like the word "I".

For example,
"Also, i am going to go watch a movie on thursday" (X)
"Also, I am going to go watch a movie on Thursday" (O)

Same for months, you will always capitalize January, February, March, etc....

Therefore, I believe you are correct that the bar is indeed referring to Fountainhead Pub.

I hope this makes sense!

Best regards,
