I got correction for

Korean factory workers have seen raises averaging 12% since 2015, just outpaced by the 14% inflation rate.

조금 앞지르는 것이다. (Altering meaning -0.50)

-> Make sure we understand the difference between "outpaced by" vs "outpacing"!

This

and Social Society Number
which i translated into 주민등록번호

I think after searching up for a while, I think SSN of correct answer is 사회 보장번호.
Is that correct?

and also could you tell me outpace by VS outpace as well?

Thanks teacher

Hello Subin!

When we say A is outpaced by B, it means B is going/increasing at a faster speed than A. So here, saying "A is outpaced by B" should be translated as "A가 B에 뒤쳐졌다", or "B가 A를 앞질렀다".

A outpaced B (A는 B를 제쳤다.)
A is outpaced by B (A는 B에 의해 제쳐졌다.)

Social Security Number is indeed called 사회보장번호 in the U.S (often simply called 소셜 or 소셜번호)

I hope this is clear!

Best regards,
