Hello Allan,

I have a question about this "The best method for presenting the words “squeeze” and “glare” would be"
the answer is acting. I thought squeeze can be expressed with an action but how can I present the word "glare" with an action..?
this word means shininess as noun and staring at someone when it's used as verb.
do these belong to active vocabulary..? if these belong to passive vocavulary, can we provide the students dictionary definition..?

thanks for your lecturing and hopefully looking forward to your reply.

Hi Park Haewon,

Sorry about responding so late!  Anyhow, let's take a look at your question.

First of all, you're right, 'glare' is a passive word, so it would be okay to give a quick definition.  However, that being said, acting out the verb form of 'glare' would be fine ('glare' as a noun is not commonly used at all).  It wouldn't take long to act it out, and frankly, it would be quite easy.

Anyhow, I hope that answers your question.  If not, just post again and next time I will get back to you much sooner (sorry about the late response again!).

Have a wonderful day!
