I have a question.
Sorry it is very simple and easy. but I want to know properly.
What is the "prompts?" I can't understand a little bit.
single word prompts, picture prompts
I know the 'prompt' meaning. But when I try to translate in my language, It's a little bit confusing to me.

Hi Suelbi Lee,

Don't worry, 'prompts' confuse a lot of people.  If you translate the word, you will find a few different meanings, basically, in TESOL, a prompt is something that we give, or show, students, and then they must use that create a full sentence.  So, with 'single word prompts', you give them a single word, or you could give two (it depends on the structure), and then they must make a full sentence using the word or words and the structure.  In regards to 'picture prompts', you show them a picture instead of a single word, and then they must make a full sentence using the structure.

Does that make sense?  If not, please post again and have a wonderful day!
