Dear Teacher
I have a question, maybe it is very stupid question. but i can't understand....

Q1. Module3/ lesson5/ video 3 [question strategies.]
(Q5.) does it give lazy students a chance not to answer? -------I can't exactly understand the meaning of this question!!!
** correct answer : 'A' is 'X' (Is lip-synching a kind of answer? what is mean this example.)
I think they have a 'opportunity' not to answers(=lip-synching).

(Q1.) Does the strategy help the teacher to control the class?
** correct answer 'C' is 'checked'
For your example, when you choose one student, the other one takes a rest.
is this situation "control" the class?

I'm sorry again because I don't understand correctly.

Q2. Module 1 test
Could you let me know the original question and answers?
I want to see what I'm wrong and what's the right answer.

Q3. Module 2 test
I think question number 3 is multiple checks. but I can't click multiple at that time.
so could you let me know the original question and answers?
I want to see what I'm wrong and what's the right answer.

Hi In Seon Song,

Don't worry about whether it is stupid question or not, if you don't understand, it is always a good idea to ask!  Anyhow, let's look at those questions:

Yes, if it gives them an opportunity NOT to answer, then lip-synching is an answer.  Basically, if lazy students do not have to answer, then it is an opportunity for them not to answer.

In regards to your second question, even if  you ask another student a question, it still helps to control the class.  Remember, strategy C is used as a punishment, so it does help to control the class.

Q2 module 1:  2. All of the following are advantages of pair work and group work activities except:
a.)  Students can feel more secure.
b.)  Students will feel more involved.
c.)  Students might space out.
d.)  Students can share knowledge.

C is obviously the correct answer, because it is the only one that is negative.

Q3, Module 2: 3. All of the following are ways that we can clearly emphasize important information on the blackboard except:
a.)  Using circles
b.)  Pointing frantically
c.)  Underlining
d.)  Using different colors

B is obviously the correct answer because it does not make sense.

Well, I hope that helps, if not, please post again and have a wonderful New Years!

However, certain students may not even lip-sync. It's not answering, and the answer seems to be 'O' because the student has a chance. why the answer is 'X'  T_T

I'm not sure how to think.. do I only consider question A and the answer form Except for the 'basically'? (it is same problem at question strategies D)
