I can't find lecture '4.Correcting written work', I'd like to know about this.

Hi again Inseon,

Ahh yeah, so the way we organized the online TESOL course is into three videos for each lesson.  Unfortunately, because of this, that section, "correcting written work" was cut. 

The trick to correcting written work is to NOT underline and correct every single error.  It is best to sometimes correct grammar, and other times to simply underline it so that the student can figure it out themselves.  The purpose of this is so that if a student made a lot of written errors there page would not be full of corrections and errors after you have finished marking it.  The reason why is because it would be discouraging, and because students should be encouraged to fix their own mistakes.  So, a good balance of about 50/50 between correcting the errors, and simply identifying them is generally considered to be the best approach.
