I have a small question for you.
You showed us 3 different activities for pair or group work activities.
If I am understanding this correctly,
Question and answer practice or pattern practice and reading comprehension activity is great for pair work, and discussion activity or debate activity is great for group activities.
But I would say that pattern practice is more of a class activity not pair work activity.
Would you kindly explain why this is a great pair work activity?

Hi Heechan Kim,
Well the reason why it is better suited to pairs, rather than being done as a class, or as a group, is because pattern practice activities always involve a question and an answer. In this case, you would obviously be best for just two people to interact with each other. If you have involve more than two, it means that not everyone will get a chance to speak, or at least they will be speaking less. In order to maximize the amount of speaking, doing it in pairs would be best.
