Hello Allan, I've taken Module 7 Quiz recenly and I couldn't figure out how I should give better answer in the Quiz, especially #10 question, so I decided to ask question to you.

"Using recorded materials is good because they are easy to pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, etc. Also, it's easy to manipulate the characters which is useful for dialogues. Thus, they can introduce students to the variety of different accents and dialects in the English speaking world. For example, British accent, Australian accent, Kiwi eccent, and so on. But, if you don't read the text to students with your own voice and just keep using the materials, you can be tamed in recorded materials and might become lazy and unprofessional. This can be one of the main disadvantages of using recorded material."

I thought it was a correct answer but I got any score of this answer. I wondered why and looked over my notes again to find out what was the wrong point but still don't know. So if it's alright, I would like to ask to you about correct answer.

Hey Minji Kang,

Sorry about the late response.  This is quite a good answer, and honestly, I would give it almost full marks.  The reason why is because you could have also mentioned that using recorded materials uses different voices and has no gestures, so it is more challenging.

Hope that helps and have a wonderful week (and stay safe!).
