Hi allan
I have a question about [Questioning strategies] of lesson5.
It's about the table that you drew to consider advantages and disadvantages of each strategy.
The 5th question was that does it give lazy students a chance not to answer?
I'm confused because I think it would be "O" for strategy A.
Isn't it "O" because It gives them chance not to answer?
Why should it be written "X"?
Am I missing something?
Would you explain this as much detail as possible?

Hi Suzy Choi,
Don't worry, a lot of people misunderstand this part of the video.
You are actually correct, it is correct that strategy A would give lazy students a chance not to answer. So, I should have written a checkmark or an "O", because it is true. HOWEVER, the reason why I gave it an X is that while it is true, it has a negative effect, so that's why I gave it an X. When I wrote down an X or checkmark it was not because it was true or false, but because it either had a good or bad, effect.
Does that make sense? If not, please get back to me and have a nice day!
