Hello, Allan, nice to communicate first time on the Internet. :)

I hope you'll be okay as the COVID19 is ruining the world. :(

Anyhow, I have a question to the number 5.

I thought it has a connection with the lesson 13 which is 'Correcting errors', because you commented "Shy or badly behaved students should be skipped. Then ask a strong student to answer, get a good example, & give them a second chance.".

I have understood I should skip first, not to punish immediately.

Is there something I misunderstood the meaning of your intention?

Hi Wook Kang,

No, I don't think you have misunderstood, but these two situations are a bit different.  When bad students won't answer, we should skip, this is true.  However, in general, in class, if students are behaving badly (hitting, yelling, using bad language, etc.), we must punish them immediately before their bad behavior spreads.

Does that make sense?  If not, please post again and have a wonderful day!

Okay, now I got the difference between in punishing a student in accordance with a type  & intensity of their bad behavior.
Anyhow, it's pretty fun to talk like this haha~.
