Hi.
Thank you for the lecture, teacher Allan.

I have a question.
When we present important vocabulary, we should put them in the margins.
Why we write important vocabulary in the margins, not in the middle on the blackboard?

Hi Hyunjung Kim,

Good question.  In general, when we are teaching a class and going over a structure (or structures) and vocabulary, we should put important vocabulary on the side (in the margins).  However, even when teaching a class when not presenting a structure, while we can present new vocabulary in the middle of the board, it is advisable that you still put the word on the side, so that you can build up a list of useful vocabulary for your students.

Well, I hope that makes sense and have a great day!
