Hi Ji Yu Yoon,

First of all, don't' feel embarrassed!  This is a tricky thing to understand.  Anyhow, let me try my best to explain:

Specific type questions will focus on just getting a single answer, and when asking questions in regards to a text, the answer will come from just one place in the text.  A general type question could include multiple correct answers, and when asking questions in regards to a text, the answer will come from a number of different points throughout a paragraph or throughout the text.

For example, here is a text:  "Jonathon likes to eat a variety of different foods.  He likes to eat hamburgers, ramyun, pizza, and spaghetti.  His favourite kind of ice cream is mango".

Example specific type question:  What is Jonathon's favourite type of ice cream?
Example general type question:  What does Jonathon like to eat?

Does that make sense? If not, please post again, and have a wonderful day!
