Thanks for your help.
I especially appreciate your quick response on the Q&A board.
It was helpful to understand,
And can I ask you a tiny question? It doesn't seem important but I was wondering when I watched your video.
You always use the word 'anyhow',but it's a unfamiliar word for me. I googled it and I came to know it's similar with 'anyway'.
But it doesn't mention about the difference.
Can you tell me the difference of them?
Thanks again^^
Happy Christmas!

Hi Ahran,
You did a really good job on your final assignment, so I was quite happy to mark your final assignment. Also, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the course.
Anyhow (!), as for the difference between 'anyway(s)' and 'anyhow', there is really none, at least in the context that I was using it. Both can be used to indicate to listeners that we are going to stop discussing a certain topic and move on. HOWEVER, as adverbs they're different. When used as adverbs, anyhow means in any way or manner whatever, whereas anyway means regardless. Anyhow as an adverb (manner): In any way or manner whatever.
Examples of 'anyway' as an adverb: "I don't like doing the dishes, but I did them anyway", "even though you dislike John, I want you to meet him anyway", etc.
That being said, 'anyhow' is generally used less than 'anyway', and both are generally used to indicate that we are done speaking about a different topic and we're going to move on to another topic.
Anyhow (!), I hope that makes sense!
