Hello again!
I have more questions from Module 1.

1-1: 1. 이번 주말에 건물을 완벽하게 보호할 수 있도록 모든 출입구를 철저히 점검하세요.
I understood your explanation that it has to be 'check - secure - protected' if I want to use verb 'check'.
I only used check and secure to translate and would like to ask you if my translation is also good or still needs to be corrected to deliver the meaning.

1-1: 3. 기상 조건이 지난 2주보다는 많이 좋아지겠지만 홍수위험은 여전히 남아있다.
The weather condition <-> weather
might be a lot better <-> will be much better
flood risk <-> the risk of flood
The underlined words were your answers and I would like to ask your feedback about my translation.
I wasn't sure about the difference between those two words.

1-1: 19. 개인정보 측면에서 보면 ~
Is it possible to use 'in terms of personal information'?

1-3: 그 여자가 입고 있는 명품이 다 진짜일까?
Instead of 'real', canI use 'genuine' or 'authentic'?

Thank you! :)

Hello Heejeong!

Here are my answers to your great questions!

————————————

-> I think your translation is accurate and complete.

1-1: 3. 기상 조건이 지난 2주보다는 많이 좋아지겠지만 홍수위험은 여전히 남아있다.
The weather condition <-> weather
might be a lot better <-> will be much better
flood risk <-> the risk of flood
The underlined words were your answers and I would like to ask your feedback about my translation.
I wasn't sure about the difference between those two words.

->

- The weather condition <-> weather
: I wouldn’t say there’s much difference in this context. Saying “weather condition” would be fine as well.

- might be a lot better <-> will be much better

: I am not entirely sure if I would use “might be” in this case, because ‘might be’ doesn’t feel very strong to me. In my opinion, the sentence is supposing that the weather will get better.

————————————

flood risk <-> the risk of flood

->  I wouldn’t say flood risk is wrong, but I believe “risk of 자연재해” is a lot more common.

-> Yes it is!

1-3: 그 여자가 입고 있는 명품이 다 진짜일까?
Instead of 'real', canI use 'genuine' or 'authentic'?

-> ‘Authentic’ is a common word when we are talking about 명품 vs 가품/짝퉁!

————————————

I hope this helps!
