Hello Jisoo,

Great questions. My answers are below each question, followed by an arrow.

1.Would you examine the translations that I did are correct?

[make sentences with word "outpace"]
- 이번 달 코로나 19 확진자 수는 지난해 최고치를 넘어 역대 최고를 갱신했다.
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 this month far outpaced the highest figure of the last year and become the all-time high.

-> Sounds good to me.

[make sentences with word "spotlighting"]
- This child sexual assault case was spotlighting of the parents of young children.
* 세간의 이목을 집중시키다는 의미로 쓸 때 spotlighting of 로 쓰나요?

-> No. You wouldn’t normally say something is “spotlighting.” Rather, you could say you ‘put a spotlight on something.’

The expression does not quite fit in your translation. If you really wanted to use the word spotlight, you could say:

Parents of young children put a spotlight on this case of sexual assault against a child.

[make sentences with word "critic"]
As a movie critic, I can’t deny my first approach to every movie is negative way as an occupational disease.
* I want to say "직업병",which is not the real disease but the bad habit.
I wonder that if I can use "occupational disease" in this way.

-> Occupational disease is definitely not the word you would use in this context. There is no one word that translates 직업병 perfectly if we are talking about your ‘habit’ that stems from your occupation as a ripple effect or a byproduct. I would simply try to explain the word in this case.

[make sentences with word "fluctuate"]
I recommend you not to fluctuate between hopes and fears for every moment.
일희일비 하지 말아라라는 뜻으로 쓰고 싶습니다. 자주 쓰는 표현인가요?

-> You will want to specify ‘what’ is fluctuating. In this case you could say: “I recommend you do not let your feelings fluctuate.”

[make sentences with word "distinction"]
I got a distinction in this performance evaluation.
나는 성과평가에서 우수한 결과를 받았다.
* 직장 내에서 성과평가를 잘 받았다고 쓰고 싶은데, is it okay?

-> Yes it sounds fine.

[make sentences with word "attitude"]
As I work in a company, I realized that attitude can be more important than work skills.
* is it fluent to use the phrase "work skills" in this sentence?

-> If you are talking about skills that are required to do your job, you probably want to say job skills.

[make sentences with word "realization"]
There was no conspicuous realization which was intended. 의도했던 뚜렷한 결과는 없었다.
* is it awkward to use "realization" in this sentence?

-> Realization can mean many different things. If you are trying to say “결과”, probably ‘result’ would be a better word choice.

[make sentences with word "Understood"]
10. Understood : 양해된, 동의된, 암묵의
It was like a understood promise between us.
*is it fluent to say?

-> Sounds fine but not the most common adjective for a word ‘promise.’ If you want to say “암묵적으로 동의가 된” probably “tacit promise/agreement” would be the most common term.

[make sentences with word "detorioration"]
* deterioration + of도 되고 in 도 되나요?

-> There can be situations where one is more commonly used than the other, but generally yes they are pretty much the same thing.

I hope it helps.
