How do you do, Allan? I am Hyong Woo Choi who is watching your Tesol lecture. I haven't studied in the private academy or even by watching online lectures so basically you are my first English native teacher and I am so grateful that I can learn from you although it's not an offline class. First, I want to appreciate for your informative and interesting lessons. I really like your hilarious jokes. I just submitted the answers for Module 2 questions and while I was watching your videos I couldn't fully understand about the structure table. I saw that the final assignment must include 1 structure table, so  I wonder, what  are the essential things that a structure table must include? For example, if I make a structure table to present "There is/are" structure, can I just make it simply like "There is/are (  )" and give or ask students what comes next? I would really appreciate if you explain in detail.

Hi Hyong Woo Choi,

Sorry about responding so late to your question!  Basically a structure table is a well organized table that shows how a structure can be used to create a number of different sentences.  Unfortunately, when it comes to answering questions on the quizzes, or tests, it is not possible to create a real structure table.  However, for your final assignment, you will have to create a real lesson plan, and within that lesson plan, you should create a structure table as part of your presentation stage.  You will have to use Microsoft Word or another writing program in order to submit your lesson plan.  Using Microsoft Word or another writing program, you should be able to create a nice, neat, and well organized structure table.

Now, don't worry too much!  We will discuss how to make lesson plans in later lectures, and before you write your final assignment, you will have a good idea about what to do after watching all of the lectures.

Anyhow, I hope that helps, and if not, just post again!  Have a wonderful day!
